ABOUT LAHIRU PRASAD

I am a Sri Lankan kayaking, rafting and canyoning guide. I live in Kithulgala - a small town in the West of Sri Lanka surrounded by mountains and rainforests. The Kelani river flows through Kithulgala - a 145km river that runs from the Sri Pada Mountain Range to Colombo. It is here that I learnt to paddle whilst working for various rafting companies after completing my education. I now work as a freelance kayaking and rafting guide - able to take tourists on kayaking trips or work as a safety kayaker or rafting guide for companies either in Sri Lanka or abroad.
